Kristen Stewart "Grateful" For Acting Career

March 9, 2009 by dino

Kristen Stewart would “implode” if she didn’t get to act.

The 18-year-old actress – who plays Bella Swan in the smash hit movie Twilight – insists she is “grateful” for the opportunities she has been given.

She says, “I get to do something that literally if I didn’t get to do, I would implode.

“There’s really no better position for me to be in right now in my life, and I am entirely grateful.”

Stewart reprises her role alongside Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning in Twilight sequel New Moon, which is due out later in the year.

The actress is also due to star alongside Fanning in forthcoming flick The Runways.

Just wish Kristen stated this from the beginning. The Twilight fans (and I) were concerned that she was not happy or grateful that she was acting with some of the well-known actors and actresses past-and-present of her time. I felt (at the very beginning of the “Twilight” fan-fare) that she just went to work and then went home…as if it was a regular job, not a job to die for! But here in this statement, she made it very clear and to the point that she is very happy and very thrilled to be acting. If she did not have the opportunity to act, she will go mad. ;) j/k Kristen. But I understand now. WE all must respect our actors’ and actresses’ statements—whether they are thought-out or not. Does that make sense? Team Bella!
