Natasha Richardson gave the gift of life before her life-support machine was turned off last week.

According New York Post gossip column Page Six, Natasha’s husband, Liam Neeson, her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, and other members of the family agreed that Natasha – who was left brain-dead from a fall on a ski slope – should donate her organs to waiting transplant patients.

A source says, “Doctors spent six hours harvesting all her organs.

“Some patient is going to wake up in the recovery room and start reciting Shakespeare.”

A family spokesman said, “We have no information on that.”

Natasha, 45, was laid to rest over the weekend.
