KANYE West has been telling pals he’s ready to become a dad.

Insiders say the rapper — who was recently linked to Pussycat Dolls star Melody Thornton — is keen to put his partying ways behind him and start a family.

“Kanye feels like there’s something missing from his life,” a source said. “He says he’d like to have a child with the woman of his dreams, adopt or use a surrogate.

“He thinks he’d make a great dad.”

Kanye recently revealed he’s stopped swearing in a bid to become a perfect gentleman.

“That’s the Rosewood mentality, like affluence, like not cursing out in public, pulling out chairs for your lady, opening up doors. That’s where I’m at,” he said.

“It’s ill because I’m at this really good emotional, great place in my life, and they’re always saying in hip-hop that you have to be in a dark place to make great hip-hop.

“I feel like I rap better than I’ve ever rapped at this point. I’m writing raps and I don’t even realize how positive they are. They just sound like regular good negative raps.”
