Tom Cruise Caught off Guard By Katie Holmes’ Divorce Filing

TOM Cruise was caught off guard when Katie Holmes filed for divorce, according to the new issue of People magazine.

The actor was in Iceland filming the sci-fi thriller Oblivion when the actress — who he’s been married to for five years — filed papers in New York.

“He had no idea this was coming,” a source said. “He’s totally devastated and heartbroken.

“Katie’s a strong person and makes up her own mind.

“She’s unwavering.”

Holmes also wants sole custody of the couple’s 6-year-old daughter Suri.
