Beyonce Talks Michelle Obama!

Monday, July 16, 2012

BEYONCE has spoken of her admiration of Michelle Obama.

The singer — who thanked the First Lady in a letter of appreciation, posted online in April — has now recorded a video of her words – calling Mrs. Obama “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.”

“She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady,” Beyoncé says.

“No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she’s humble, loving, and sincere.

“Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us. I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

Meanwhile, Beyonce’s sister Solange has told the singer she shouldn’t be friends with reality star Kim Kardashian!

“In Solange’s eyes, Beyonce is a stand-out star, a premier singer of our time, whereas Kim is just a reality TV star who only got famous after a sex tape was leaked,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“So she called Beyonce out on it, and they had a fight over Kim. It culminated with Beyonce telling Solange she can be friends with whomever she wants.”

Aren’t the Obama’s just Americans?  Who cares about their race and/or ethnicity. I am tired of it being pointed out all the time as if we don’t know. One should not back someone because of their race and others should not be lumped as all the same because they have light skin coloring. No one knows if all of these people have decent from Africa.  They took slaves from other places too that had dark coloring. That is all in the past. Either you are an American or you are not.  We need to drop these hyphenated racial groupings. Call me Dutch, French, English, Irish-American complaining about all this racism.
