JACK Black wants to make a School of Rock sequel.

The Hollywood funnyman says he’s desperate to reprise the role of guitarist Dewey Finn, who is unanimously kicked out of his band and subsequently disguises himself as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. After sensing musical potential in his students, Dewey forms a band of fifth-graders to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands and pay off his rent.

“I wish,” Jack said about a sequel, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

“I tried really hard to get all the pieces together. I wouldn’t want to do it without the original writer and director, and we never all got together and saw eye-to-eye on what the script would be. It was not meant to be, unfortunately. But never say never.

“We’re all going to get together for a party.”
