Barbra Streisand Riles Aretha Franklin!

BARBRA Streisand has gone and made an enemy out of Aretha Franklin.

The music legend apparently riled up the Queen of Soul when she turned an offer for the pair of them to tour together.

“Barbra bragged that she sells out venues all over the world and com­mands the biggest ticket price of anyone – she’ll be selling seats at prices as high as $1,500 on her up­coming tour,” a source told the National Enquirer.

“She doesn’t need to share top billing, and she doesn’t need a gimmick to sell tickets. I think she was insulted.

“They could have easily met up to perform together. It was just an off-the-cuff sugges­tion from Aretha, but Barbra wasn’t interested.

“Barbra hasn’t shared top billing with anyone in 50 years, and she’s not going to start now!”

    That’s downright rude. Really rude. A suggestion was made and she has to be nasty about this because she thinks she’s the only one that brings in crowds? Hate to break it you Babs, but bad move. She must like people being pissed at her.. How terrible.

    This story is rag sheet nonsense.People are so gullible to believe that Barbra said this foolishness to Aretha as if they would have a public discussion! The truth is Streisand invited Franklin to perform at the Hamlisch Tribute. And I’m sure these icons have a mutual respect for each other.The truth is that Streisand, at 70 years-old doesn’t need anyone to help her fill concert arenas.Barbra just finished a 2-night SOLD OUT set of concerts in Brooklyn playing to about 40,000 people.

    Oh please……. who knows if this is true or not, it does not matter…. The truth is that Barbra does NOT need Aretha Franklin or ANYONE to help her fill arenas. She can get even more that $1500 per seat, and does. She is the last of her kind. There was only one Frank Sinatra, and there is only one Barbra Streisand. There will NEVER be anyone in the future of humanity that can fill either of their shoes.
    We should be thankful that she can still sing and hope that she realizes that her singing brings such joy and happiness to people around the world. Barbra, PLEASE keep singing new material……… and maybe vocalize a little….. It would be nice to hear some of those high notes again! :-))))
