KRISTEN Stewart likes to have close relationships with her her directors.

The actress — who famously cheated on beau Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders — says her performance in a movie depends a lot on her relationship with its director.

“I rely really heavily on the director/actor relationship,” she said.

“If you don’t have a good relationship with an actor you rely on the director. If you don’t have a good relationship with a director, you rely on your actor.

“I try not to fixate on it because if one little thing is wrong I am like, ‘Leeeeeave the set!’ But that will ruin everything.

“I love pushing, I love scaring myself. I really wanted to do the sex scenes. As long as you’re being really honest there’s nothing ever to be ashamed of.”
