Glenn Beck: Jeans Line For Conservative Radio Show Host — And The Denim is Made in America!

Posted by Adam

GLENN Beck is turning fashion designer with his latest venture — a new denim line.

The  conservative radio show host’s Beck’s 1791 Denim line — which is made in the US — was officially launched on Monday.

Beck, who Forbes reports is worth $80million, decided to go into the fashion business when he discovered that very few denim lines are actually produced in America.

“Rather than sit back and complain about yet another industry going overseas, Glenn decided to do something about it and tasked the nascent 1791 clothing line, staffed by only (two employees), with making a new line of jeans that would be made entirely in America. And they had to do it as soon as possible — since that is the only deadline that Glenn ever gives his employees,” said a press release.

The denim is woven in at the Cone Denim Mills in Greensboro, North Carolina before being shipped to a factory in Kentucky where it is then cut and sewn into two different cuts.

The company is only releasing two different styles, both of which cost $129.99 per pair

Both the classic cut and the straight cut jeans cost $129.99 per pair.

In keeping with Mr Beck’s devotion to American history, the story and name of the line are steeped in meaning.

The namesake year is in honor of when the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution.
