Adele Won’t Release Another Album For Years

ADELE won’t be releasing a new album for quite some time — according to her record label.
The pregnant singer as not started work on the follow-up to her multimillion-selling second set 21 and is unlikely to return to the studio any time soon, said XL Recordings.
The music label recently registered £41.7 million in profit in 2011 following the enormous success of Adele’s latest album, but insisted that those figures will not be achievable every year.
“The next Adele album may not come for some years, and it’s impossible to predict its likely sales,” a spokesperson for XL Recording told The New York Times.
“We therefore regard this year’s figures as exceptional.”
Adele’s 21 has sold over 24m copies since its release in January 2011 and helped boost XL Recordings’s bank balance from £3m to £32m in a year.
Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Adele and her fiance Simon Konecki won’t be raising their baby in London — because it’s too much of a “goldfish bowl”.
Sources tell People magazine that the singer — who’s due to give birth to her first child in the next few weeks — are renovating a home in Hove, Southern England, where they can be left in peace.
Adele was raised in Tottenham, north London, but she doesn’t want to stay in the UK capital with her child.
“Neither she nor Simon want to bring up the baby in London. She says it’s like a goldfish bowl. They want to keep a low profile when the baby is born. I think we’ll see even less of her then,” a source said.
“Despite her millions, she is going to give the baby the most important thing of all, love. The baby is very special to have such a special lady as its mother.”
