Keanu Reeves Losing His Facial Hair

KEANU Reeves is losing his hair!

According to a National Enquirer report, the 48-year-old actor’s thinning facial hair is creating a huge problem because the character in his latest film has a full beard, say sources.

The Matrix actor reportedly suffers from mild alopecia barbae, which inhibits hair growth around the beard region.

“As he gets older, and his beard gets patchier, it’s harder to cover up,” revealed a close friend.

“His makeup artists have to spend extra time filling in the blanks.

“It’s been a huge headache for them and a serious hassle for Keanu to sit for so long in the makeup chair.”

“He’s glad the problem only involves his face and not his head.

“In the big picture, having a splotchy beard isn’t so bad.”

    That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. Reeves has always had a patchy beard it’s how his beard grows! I’m no dermatologist but I figured it was from adolescent years of break out scars. I swear find something more interesting to write about. Patchy or not he looks good with or without the beard. Go find someone else to write about.

    Two thumbs down for such a stupid report. Agree with first commenter, Keanu has always had a patchy beard. Also, come on! Make-up artists of the magnitude that work on Keanu’s projects are having trouble with this?????? No way.

    I have alopecia universalis and while it is a bit crappy when it’s falling out it ain’t that bad to be bald. If only I had a team of makeup artists to fix my face every morning before I went to work!
    I’m sure Keanu will get over it, or perhaps remain cleanly shaven for a change :)
