DEMI Moore has repaired her relationship with eldest daughter Rumer Willis.

The actress, 49, is relieved that her 24-year-old daughter recently agreed to meet her for the first time in months amid rumors of a rift after being encouraged to contact her mother by her actor boyfriend Jayson Blair.

“Jayson has been telling Rumer for ages that she needed to forgive her mom and move on. She finally gave in and made the call,” a source said.

“He knew that deep down Rumer really missed her mother and wasn’t going to be happy until they made up.”

The emotional reunion — which is said to have occurred at Demi’s Hollywood home at the end of last month — is the first known step the mother and daughter have taken to get their relationship back on track and both are said to be very happy to be communicating again.

It is not known whether Demi’s two other daughters, Scout and Tallulah, have also made peace with their mother.
