ALICIA Keys is reveling in motherhood — she says her son Egypt is the “best” thing that’s ever happened to her.

The superstar singer says giving birth to her and husband Swizz Beatz‘s two-year-old boy is a greater achievement than when she wrote her most successful song or put on her greatest ever performance.

“He’s the best collaboration I’ve ever done, he’s the best song I ever wrote, the best experience I’ve ever had, the best show I’ve ever performed. He’s the best everything,” she said.

While Keys credits First Lady Michelle Obama and author Maya Angelou as “big inspirations” throughout her successful singing career, the brunette beauty insists talk show host Oprah Winfrey was the first person to ever show her that you don’t have to be a “greedy jerk” to do well in life.

“Oprah … she’s the first person to show me that you don’t have to be a greedy jerk to be successful. You can be just as successful doing things that really do something for someone,” she said.

“Michelle Obama is definitely an inspiration for me. She’s the most graceful, intelligent, fierce, no-nonsense but still so kind hearted person. Maya Angelou is a big inspiration for me… she’s a magnificent person.”
