JESSICA Biel has revealed why she and Justin Timberlake decided to get married in Italy — food.

The pair tied the knot at Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia, Southern Italy, earlier this month and they decided to do it in Europe rather than their native United States because they wanted the wedding breakfast to be one of the most important parts of the day.

“Well, we love to eat,” Jessica told Hello! magazine.

“We just felt like we wanted to have great food, great wine and a great time with friends and family but also give them time to see the place by themselves, take a bike ride into the village or go swimming in the sea.

“We didn’t require too much of anyone except maybe one get-together a day. It was a culmination of elegance and a rustic local feel; very congruent with the environment with what was available here food-wise and decoration-wise. It was all very simple in a sense.”

“We love wine and we love food. I think this place is really special for us and the time that we’ve shared thus far. Probably more so what Jess said – we just really love to eat and the Italians do it better than anybody,” Justin said.
