[imagebrowser id=1334] PAUL Walker and his girlfriend Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell were going to take their relationship to the next level, it has been revealed.
Although the pair weren’t engaged at the time of Paul’s shock death last month, sources have revealed that Paul was planning to pop the question.
“Family was everything to Paul,” a source said.
“He had his daughter, Meadow, living with him and his relationship with Jasmine was solid. He was planning to make an honest woman out of her.
“He had been looking at rings. He wanted to marry her.”
Walker, 40, passed away Saturday November 30 when a car he was in crashed and exploded in Santa Clarita, Calif. The driver also died.
Reports back in 2009 claimed Walker proposed to Jasmine at Christmastime.
“Paul is very happy,” a source said at the time.
Paul started dating Jasmine when she was just 16, “their age difference doesn’t scare him. He knows she’s the one.”
However, a rep said at the time the engagement reports were “not true.
In the May 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, Fast Five actor Paul was asked for a list of things you could do that would make him “lose your [phone] number”.
“You have to have a sense of humor. If something goes wrong on a date, you need to be able to shrug it off,” he said.
“I can’t stand furry boots and Apple Bottom jeans. I don’t know why.
“Foul language is okay if it happens every once in a while, like when a guy drops the ball during a football game. But it’s definitely a turn-off is she’s too loose with it.
“When a girl tries to schedule every detail, it says to me she has no sense of adventure.
“I get that it takes time to get ready, but an hour? Especially if we just woke up and want to get breakfast. It’s like, ‘Please, can we eat already?’
“Obviously when people have issues, you want to be there for them. But if everything is one-sided — it’s always about her day or her drama — that’s not a partnership.”
