The Florida jury has awarded Hulk Hogan an additional $25 million in punitive damages in his sex tape privacy case against Gawker Media.

Nick Denton is on the hook personally for $10M and his company will have to kick in the other $15M. Denton’s former editor will also have to pay $100K out of his own pocket.

As we reported before the Florida jury already decided last Friday that Gawker owed Hogan (Terry Bollea), $115 million in damages after the media company knowingly leaked the celebs private hidden camera sex tape of Hogan banging with the wife of his then–best friend and radio personality Bubba The Love Sponge.

Gawkers attorney Michael Sullivan tried to argue that last week’s $115 million judgment was “more than enough punishment,” and that “the figure is already beyond the company’s financial means and will be debilitating for his client.”

Kenneth Turkel who is Hogan’s attorney, argued to the court Monday that Gawker was worth an estimated $85M and that the company earned approximately $48.7M in advertising revenue last year. He goes on to argue that Denton was currently in possession of over $121 million and owned a $3.6 million New York City condo according to financial statements. Editor Daulerio has no assets and owes $27,000 in student loans, thus why his cost would only be $100K.

Gawker attorneys are already in the process of appealing the entire judgement.

Hulk Hogan has been showing via social media how happy he is with the outcome of the case:
