Just In Time: Justin Timberlake Brings A Beat To Kick Off Summer 2016

Justin Timberlake’s new song was written before Prince passed it’s exactly what the pop world needed right now. Prince’s last tribute to his fans was a dance party. JT’s new song is its own dance party. “Can’t Stop the Feeling” has that Timberlake falsetto encouraging everyone to, “… just dance, dance, dance, dance.” It’s got a good beat and a cute video too.

The video is made up of the cast of Dreamworks Animation’s Trolls. Trolls stars: Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, James Corden, Kunal Nayyar, Gwen Stefani, Russell Brand, and Ron Founts. Anna Kendrick (Princess Poppy) and Justin Timberlake (Branch) provide the voices for the main characters. The movie comes out November 4, 2016.

Timberlake not only voices a main character but he also executive produced the movie’s soundtrack. So, No, fans will not be getting a new solo album from JT. Fans will get the soundtrack on September 23, 2016. According to Timberlake’s website.

“Timberlake will oversee all creative direction for the film’s music as well as perform multiple songs on the soundtrack. The soundtrack will feature 3 additional original tracks written by Timberlake specifically for the film and performed by him and other top artists. In addition, Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Icona Pop, Zooey Deschanel and Christopher Mintz-Plasse will perform covers of hit songs from the past few decades.
