Rage Against The Machine: Mystery Site And Promotion Products Have Fans Drooling *Bad News Though*

One of the best bands ever, ‘Rage Against The Machine’ are being super secretive with what is coming soon, but from what we have been able to gather the plans will include Public Enemy and Cypress Hill members. According to the countdown on the bands official site (Profits Of Rage) we only have a little over a week before the all the details are reveled.

On the new website, if you enter your email, you receive a message that says: “Clear the way for the prophets of rage,” which is a Public Enemy lyric from the song “Prophets of Rage.” The hashtag, “#TakeThePowerBack,” is from a Rage Against the Machine song:

Fans are finding the logo on posters plastered all over the city that are not lasting long, as the fans are grabbing them, just as soon as they go up.

Sources tell Billboard that three-quarters of the storied band, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk are joining forces with Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real to form a super-group called Prophets of Rage (referencing a Public Enemy song of the same name from the 1988 album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back) to perform songs by all three bands. Rage vocalist Zack de la Rocha is not involved, and that my friends is a huge disappointment! I am mean for shit sake man, Zach De La Rocha is RATM!

Social media has also been giving clues on the bands plans:

Rage Against the Machine’s full lineup has not performed since a July 2011 show at L.A. Rising fest, so needless to say fans are due. Again though, with no Zach De La Rocha is it really Rage Against The Machine news at all? What are your thoughts?
